Stent Devices: Comparison of Clinical Outcomes

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a leading cause of death worldwide. When plaque buildup narrows a coronary artery, restricting blood flow to the heart, stenting offers a minimally invasive solution to restore blood flow and prevent heart attacks. However, choosing the optimal stent type for each patient is crucial to maximize the clinical benefit. Our client wanted to compare the clinical performance of various stent devices. To achieve this, we performed data extraction from over 60 relevant studies focusing on patient-centric clinical outcomes like Amputation-Free Survival (AFS) and freedom from Clinically-Driven Target Lesion Revascularization (CD-TLR).
