Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: Systematic Literature Review

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) accounts for the majority of lung cancer cases worldwide and remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality. With the growing importance of targeted therapies for specific mutations in NSCLC patients, our client sought to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) to assess the efficacy and safety of a specific small molecule that targets BRAF mutations in locally advanced and metastatic NSCLC.

We conducted literature searches across PubMed, Embase, INAHTA, Cochrane Library, ClinicalTrials.gov, and WHO ICTRP. The review process included Level 1 screening of around 500 records, followed by Level 2 screening of around 80 full texts. Data extraction (DE) and quality assessment (QA) were performed for around 20 articles. Key deliverables included a PRISMA 2020 flow diagram and structured screening and DE/QA outputs.
