Evidence Analyst/ Health Outcome Analyst/ HEOR Associate

Job Description

  • Provide high quality evidence based strategic solutions to meet client needs
  • Conduct primary and secondary research and to inform and shape the development of strategic recommendations
  • Systematically identify and synthesize evidence e.g. clinical, epidemiological, quality of life, economic and reimbursement evidence
  • Meta-analysis of large volumes of qualitative and quantitative healthcare data for clinical/economic systematic reviews
  • Preparation of clinical and economic systematic reviews
  • Write, refine, review and critique sections of client deliverables, including reports, presentations, journal manuscripts and conference abstracts

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience within healthcare or qualifications such as PhD/MPhil/MRes/MA/MSc in health economics, health policy or life science
  • MSc in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology or related disciplines
  • MBBS/ Mpharm /Bpharm with relevant experience in HEOR

HEOR Consultant

Job Description

  • Conduct economic evaluations to inform strategic and product commercialization for our clients; in particular, economic modeling and value dossier development
  • Play active role in HEOR team to secure and deliver HEOR projects
  • Project management for timely and on-budget delivery of project
  • Candidate will be expected to manage projects and to assume responsibility for client liaison
  • Ensure clinical/ scientific/ pharmaceutical accuracy of the content
  • Build, mentor and manage a team of systematic reviewers, statisticians, medical writers for the manuscript writing/ editing and publication support
  • Effectively communicate with the internal team and the clients
  • Review deliverables prepared by the team

Qualifications and requirements

  • MSc in Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Medical or Statistics
  • Technical and scientific knowledge in economics research methodologies and their application within the healthcare environment and patient access to medicines
  • Hands-on experience of developing and validating health economic models and / or hands-on experience with researching, compiling and submitting documents required for health technology submissions
  • Proven team management and development experience
  • Proven knowledge of specific industry data analysis techniques and software such as STATA or SAS and proficiency in major microsoft packages, including word, excel and power point

Health Economists/ Economic Modelers

Job Description

  • Conduct models within health economics using a variety of software, for example: TreeAge, MS Excel
  • Experienced in model development, model programming and statistical analysis ( eg: cost effectiveness models, budget impact models )
  • Draft project deliverables (reports, dossiers, protocols, spreadsheets, etc)
  • Significant experience of applying economics to healthcare, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consulting industries.
  • Proven track record of developing literature review protocols.
  • Experienced in tracking budget and expenses and monitoring timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications and requirements

  • BA, Masters, PhD (or equivalent experience in health economics experience or related field)
  • Proven modelling experience gained within academia, consultancy, pharmaceutical companies etc.
  • Excellent time management skills and team working skills
